Safeguarding Policy

We believe that children and vulnerable adults safeguarding and protection is the individual and collective responsibility of everyone working in or visiting the organisation. 

Our policy recognises that the welfare and interests of children and vulnerable adults are paramount in all circumstances. We are committed to ensuring our safeguarding practices exceed statutory requirements.

All employees are trained in safeguarding, and prior to employment are subject to a enhanced DBS check as well as additional recruitment checks. 

Our designated safeguarding lead is Taner Fikret , and our deputy safeguarding officers are Charlotte Pratt & Bobbie Collins.  

Bee-Leaf Project is also covered by full public liability and employers liability insurances.

All employees must also adhere to the staff code of conduct and receive regular individual and group reflective supervision sessions.
