About Bee-Leaf Project

Bea-Leaf Project Mission Statement

Our Mission is to assist in meeting the following outcomes

  • To unearth the excellence of youth through meaningful relationships
  • Raise awareness and understanding of the struggles of individuals or groups
  • Improve the resilience and emotional health of our community

Our vision is to help young people develop healthy, strong relationships that allow them to reach their full potential by creating a world in which children and young people’s social and emotional needs are better understood and met.

We believe the emotional health and wellbeing of all our mentees and mentors is fundamental to our philosophy and vision.

We believe that emotional healthy people will be able to;

  • Develop psychologically, emotionally, creatively, intellectually and spiritually
  • Initiate, develop and sustain mutually supportive personal relationships
  • Be aware of others and empathize with them
  • Learn
  • Develop a sense of right and wrong
  • Face challenges, resolve issues/set backs and learn from them
  • Use and enjoy solitude

Bee-Leaf project achieves this
by offering professional  1 to 1 and group mentoring programs to young people of all ages. We partner participants with adult mentors, volunteers, and employers within the same community. Mentoring sessions focus on building skills, exploring new passions, and supporting mentees through personal hardships. For the best outcomes we recommend mentors and mentees commit to at least eight hours per month for a minimum of one year.
